fuih, gag berasa gag lama abis NeW YeaR celebration udagh di hajar dengan final exam semester 3….to be honest negh, gw males banged blajar buad exam kali ini:) gw prefer exam sebelum libur gitu kan selain pelajaran juga jadi gag lupa, liburan juga jadi lebi panjang:) tapi yagh udagh lagh yagh dagh lewat ini:)

Jem sekarang menunjukkan pukul 1:17, gw lage ngisi blog pake laptop gw tercinta:) hehehe….and bentar lage juga gw maw tidur abis review networking buad exam ntar pagi jem 9:) exam yg bolegh gw bilang sangad gag jelas, mulai dari format examnya (essay, short answer, ato multiple choice) gag ada yg jelas semua…..katanya open book ada yg bilang closed book, OMG negh exam bener2 ke laut aja degh, untung gw gag ambil negh Networking Streaming kalo ngak bisa gila karena semuanya serba gag jelas:)…….tadi segh abis review2 subnetting:) akhirnya gw yakin gw bisa kerjain soalnya bsok hahaha…..kacaw degh:) I just wanna say gud luk to myself, and also gud luk to my friends:) hehehe….

Rencananya segh gw bakal blajar smart buad computing theory targetnya diatas 90+ buad multimedia juga 90+….and terus 1 lage buad DSAA berhubung MID gw rada jeblok gw gag maw Final Exam gw ikud2an jeblok 90+ is the target:) hehehe….doain yagh mudagh2an bisa tercapai semua:)

Today, I logged in into my wp-admin dashboard of my blog and I was quiet surprised that I have 3 posts draft waiting to be finished and published. I wonder how long it’s been since my last post and I bet that it was around 3 months ago. How is it going with my life? Let’s find out!

Well, I have been busy lately with univ work but however the amount of workload I’ve received is still in reasonable amount though I have to work extra hours and nights coz all of the assignment is done individually (my ego and my own decision). Entering the week 11, I only have roughly 2 weeks before I finish this semester and hopefully everything goes accordingly and I’ll be graduating by the end of the year. My exams schedule is also official and it’s gonna be Information Retrieval (IR) exam which is on 26 October 2009; the next exam follows within 2 days time interval, 28 October 2009, and it’s gonna be Internet and Intranet Document Engineering (IIDE); and the last exam is roughly a week after which gives me some spare time to having it prepared, and it is Computer and Internet Forensics (CIF). The study period is going to end on 16 October 2009 which gives the student a week study and preparation period (SWOT VAC).

After finishing all the exams, I still have an IELTS test going on which is gonna be on 7 November 2009 and the bad news is I haven’t done any preparation so far and will do soon. What I’ve done the most is reading more articles and hoping that my general knowlegde expands (I know that I might sound a little bit naive, but I do hope so) which in the sense will help me in Speaking part. I do hope that I can get a band of 7 the first attempt but then I am not really sure about that, and I am planning to have a second attempt when I am going back to Jakarta and it’s gonna be on 21 November 2009. Yes, I am going back to Jakarta on 14 November 2009 and planning to spend some quality time there as I will be having my BiNus University graduation (the date of which is not yet known, what a shame for such University). I also will be preparing some legal documents for my TR/PR application and hopefully everything is ready just before I am going back to Melbourne.

It comes across my mind to have the third attempt on IELTS test just before I am going back to Melbourne on 5 December 2009 (FYI, I am going back to Melbourne on 7 December 2009) but I am still considering about this coz the payment fee for IELTS test is no longer as cheap as back in two years ago. Well, let’s see as I havent carefully think about this.

Anyway, that’s roughly the series of activities I’ve planned to do within the next 2-3 months. I really hope that my study is going well coz at this point I am really tired of studying and learning process and I have enough I guess.

One of the reasons for my absence in blogging is because my other fellows who used to be blogging (attention to Pxang and Kurniady) are on absence as well. I noticed that yesteday Pxang has started his blogging activity again and have the new blog running on blogspot.com (visit his at http://pisankblog.blogpsot.com), what about the others? Kurniady? hahaha…I know that He is very busy with the work in Google though

Well, I guess that’s all I have to write in this entry and have to think to finish the other drafts as well. I think I need to start being active to update my blog as it’s again hopefully help me in writing part for IELTS test (I dont wanna sound naive but it’s true).

Harusnya dalem minggu ini gw udagh nambah 2 entries including this one..tapi berhubung yang pertama gag ke post gara2 kepencet backspace windows pas lage nulis…hilanglah sudagh apa yang udagh gw tulis…FYI, this blog is written around 2 oçlock in the morning:p so, I am sorry if there will be a lot of gramaticall error thoughout the blog…

Weekend. Mungkin ini ada waktu yang di tunggu kita semua. Semua orang butuh weekend at least I believe I need one. Pas weekend kita bisa ngelakuin apa aja yang kita gag semped kerjain pas hari2 biasa..pas weekend biasanya kita pake buad ilangi stress…pas weekend biasanya kita kumpul barenk2 keluarga….It’s suppose to be fun..but, for me this weekend quiet suckz at the beginning..This is becoz of FDS subject..

FDS, File and Database System..sorry to say, is the most disgusting subject ever..Gw benci banged ama negh subject lama2…yang pasti alasan yang pertama gara2 lecturer-nya..sumpah low quality and incompetent..you might say that this is rude, but it is the fact. To deny a fact is a sin, rite? So, i won’t deny it anyway. Emang segh penyebab utamanya gara2 #1 invidual project gw cuma di kasi point 20…gara2 plagiarism…emang gw akui, gw liad kerjaan kur2 nomor.4(d), (e), (f)..bukannya gw males gag maw bikin ato apa..cuma emang gw gag ngerti cara bikin relational algebranya….if it is SQL statement, it will be done in blink of an eye…This subject just ruins every single thing..sumpah gw males buad ngapa2in yang pasti abis ini subject….cuma udaghlagh yagh, emang salagh gw juga…maw di apain lage…cuma one thing for sure…gw gag bakal notice tuh lecturer in every single session anymore ever in my life….He is already on my blacklist, once it is there it will be there 4ever….

A part from FDS subject, kayanya semua fine2 aja yagh..gw juga udagh gag mikirin tuh subject lage..bodo amadan degh maw daped apa…

Overall, I really have a blast this week..We play hard and we study hard…we laugh a lot…we chat a lot…..thanks guys every single one in my class, you guys the best..:p This week is the second last week before we have a quiet a long break:p….to prepare for the mid exam (huh? really?? I dont think so!):p To those of you who want to have holiday, just enjoy it..to those of you who want to prepare for the mid exam..gud luk..:P To anyone…who wants play dotA together…ke emporium yagh jem 10 pagi hari minggu…last week before the break ok:p we rockzzz..TDA rockzzz…in the end…whatever happens Just bring it on.

In the middle of SWOT-VAC (Study Week On The Vacation) facing WDA exam on Monday, 3 November 2008, I am doing the final rendering for Advanced 3D Imaging and Animation (AIA). This is one of the most stressful thing I ever encountered during my study period. Why rendering is so stressful? Well not just rendering, the whole course for me is so stressful.

At the beginning of the semester this year, I was so excited of taking this course (beginner level). But then, in the middle of the project I got a problem with my lighting setup which ruined the whole project till the very end. The result was not very good but then I was quiet satisfied at that moment. I couldn’t expect more to the result but then I realized this course, the 3D work may not be suitable for me. I enjoyed coding much more than doing 3D design. Here is the final result of my first 3D (ever). The title is “A boy who lives in the attic” (what a lame title…I know that). The story pretty much about Ron Weasley room (A character in Harry Potter). Here is the still image.

It’s not winter yet, but the current temperature over the past three days has been very extreme especially on Sunday and this morning. I was going to MUDIKA picnic last sunday and in the middle of the games, rains dropped but before that the winds blows at around 80KM/H. The weather forecast has predicted so but the heavy wind was really something that is unexpected. As a result, I wasn’t feeling very well since got back from the picnic but luckily having one day of hibernation on last Tuesday has made my body fit again.

Although it doesn’t change the fact that the weather is still a little too extreme around Melbourne these days and most of friends who are staying in Melbourne are complaining about the weather. Again, it is not winter yet but then I am forced to wear my scarf already. We are wondering what it is like during winter season. Me, myself personally hope that it will be snow everywhere coz some people have predicted that it hits below 0′ degree and probably it will become the very first time in history for the city of Melbourne has snow on top of it.

Some people say it’s because the effect of the global warming so that when you are in summer, the weather will be getting very hot (just like this year when the temperature was around 45 degrees celcius) and the other way around. I don’t know exactly what is happening to our world but I don’t think that this is something good either, because you guys probably know if it stays like this what will happen over the coming years.

PS: it’s currently 10 degrees celcius and last night was around 2-3 degrees around 4-5 o’clock in the morning. It’s not winter yet!

Cape…cuma kata itu yang terlintas di pikiran gw pas gw nulis entry kali ini. Knapa? awalnya gw pikir hari ini bakal jadi hari yang santai cozz cuma 2 subjects and they are all lab sessions tapi gag tawnya cukup menyita banyak energy juga. File and Database segh bener2 nice subject to learn yagh trus networking juga subject yang worthed buad di pelajari menurut gw secara gw tadi gag bisa connect 2 PCs ke 1 router. Gag ngerti napa padahal IP udagh di setting and logically segh harusnya jalan gag ngerti napa sampe sekarang udagh di ‘oprek-oprek’ masi gag jalan juga…hahaha udgahlagh yagh…

Pas pagi2 tadi bangun jem 1/2 7an semped blajar 1 cool effect dari orangedan.net…hehehe setelah gw berhasil berenti frame per frame…rencananya negh effect bakalan gw pake pas intro buad multimedia project. Cuma gradasi warnanya tadi masi rada ngaco jadinya pas di play there is something wrong. Trus frame speednya pas effect brightness ketiga juga masi ngaco jadi kesannya rada overlap yang kedua soalnya frame speednya lebi tinggi. Mudagh2an segh minggu malem udagh bener2 bisa negh effect…harus degh maw gag maw:p ganbatte:p

Abis all sessions finished tadi gw attended 1st Kick-Off meeting CIA. Banyak bener yang join semester ini cuma yagh gag taw yagh pada betah ngak. Kita segh harapannya pada daped apa yang mereka incer pas mereka join CIA. Tadi semped rada hectic juga pas udagh masuk Movie Showing soalnya new members banyak yang kepentok maw pulang, emang segh udgah rada sore geto yagh trus maybe it’s kinda boring stuff soalnya filmnya 2 hours long jadi yagh mungkin karena udagh cape trus di hajar film 2 jem yagh jadi pada lemes and prefer going home as soon as possible. Yagh gw sendiri pas film-nya setengah jalan udgah rada ngantuq karena emang this is one tiring day buad gw… I learned a lot of new things especially about database, multimedia, and also networking…hopefully this can be useful for me….hahaha..

Oh iyagh buad Dennis, Jan, ama Glen and also Yoan please don’t tell anyone about this dream I had last night it’s kinda silly to tell to someone else:p hahaha…besides the third parties may realize:p hehehehe….keep it a secret yagh guys

Over the past two months I’ve been busy, packed, and loaded with academic stuffs. Two major projects of Web Service and Internet Industry Project (IIP) has drawn most of my time. The blogging activity should stop temporarily but now as I’m free, I’ll be writing and sharing more personal stories. I won’t be writing long in this entry coz apparently I lose my sense of writing so that I need to gather them back. As you read along this entry, you’ll find out roughly what has been happening to my personal life. So, let’s ride!

As I have mentioned earlier this semester I took Web Services and IIP; unexpectedly these two courses were giving me a lot of troubles and headaches.

The second assignment of Web Services is a group assignment. To complete this assignment I had decided to team up with Ryan and Glen. Honestly, at the very beginning it came accross my mind to finish this assignment by myself considering that it will be faster for me to work alone but then out of nowhere I finally dropped that silly idea when Ryan asked me to team up with him and I agreed to accept his offer. Glen however had asked me 1st to be one team with him, so it will be impossible to drop him and taking Ryan only instead. Luckily the maximum number of students allowed within one group is 3 and we all can fit in one team. The preliminary meeting was not producing a very good result since the requirement was very unclear however, we manage to start building the 1st project. The assignment itself was about building an architecture that requires the use of “Web Services” along the way to automate most of the business processes that happen in the given study case.

Anyway, I won’t go any further with technical details as probably you guys will get bored. There were couple of moments where I felt so dissapointed with the team; it’s not because they couldn’t finish the jobs but because they sometimes turned up late in the meeting. I know that they were feeling dissapointed to me as well because couple of things that I’ve done; despites of all the conflicts and internal feelings we managed to pull things together until the very end which was the demo. The demo was pretty screwed since we were facing couple of errors (over again!) but then we satistfy with the result because we win the prize of $AUD 600. This prize is awarded to the team who can present the best architecture design to the given study case. The decision to use JAVA and PHP was a correct decision in my opinion because it really shows the use of Web Services so that two different application written on top of two different programming languages can talk to each other. The prize money is a nice closing for this subject.

IIP is another different story; it is a project course in which you spend the whole semester doing a single project without having to bother with assignments and exam. This subject also will be used to complete my thesis for “Sarjana Komputer” (S.Kom). They story behind it on how BiNus University has decided to use IIP as our thesis is unknown and I have no attention at all to find out Anyway, the project  we took for this project is iPhone application development. The application is inteded for RMIT Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) student to manage their personal timetable within their iPhone. 30 June 2009, we were presenting this project to other people in the class and manage to pull good impression from some people. Although, there are still a lot of rooms for improvement but I believe what we have done for iPhone project development in RMIT is a breakthrough. In the next post, I’ll present you guys with the actual screenshot of our application since right now I am still selecting and compiling the images.

So, this is the end for this entry. I’ll be writing more soon since I also still in holiday period and I’ll share more stories with you guys and I really appreciate it if you guys put comments I also wanna thanks Ryan Seet and Glen Michael Kurniawan for a nice job that we have done for “Web Services”, we definitely rocked. Dennis Andika Suryawijaya and Glen Michael Kurniawan (again!) for the very nice job we produce in IIP creating those application. So, heaps of thank to my teams and sorry for the mistakes I’ve done

4:34 AM, my computer clock quoted. That doesn’t alter the fact that I am not going to bed yet. Well, I am downloading songs from “The Veronicas” (Hook Me Up, the whole album); I just got the name from Indrie during the lunch yesterday noon, so thanks to her lolz.

Around 2:00 AM in the morning, my computer got another spyware attack. I am guessing that the spyware is still in my computer but inactive; later I’ll do the full scan to wipe all the spywares, hopefully it’s gonna work this time. Anyway, this is not my topic for this entry. I am gonna be writing a little bit about my exam, my study material. So enjoy

This semester I only have 1 exam which is Web Database Application or I often call it as WDA (simpler, faster, and easy to understand lolz). The exam is weighted only 40% of the total grade because the whole assignment is 60% hurdle. The group assignment of the subject drained me to bones, but then luckily the team managed to complete everything JUST on schedule. It was a huge work since we kept on adding functionalities here and there…scope creep should I say.

The course for me is not a very difficult subject because as you go read from the reading material from the lecture, they are all basic stuffs. If you have done Web Programming course before, the concept is more likely the same but the implementation is little bit different because of the programming language you are using. The whole lecture covers the topics of session, http request, form handling, user-driven querying, validation, etc. I should say they are all basic stuffs (again!). There are areas I need to concentrate more such as Template using PEAR ITX or MDB2 and also setting up basic authentication on server. I’ve done this before but using .NET which is MUCH MORE SIMPLER and EASIER (you know what Microsoft products can do rite? lolz). So, definitely I will be spending much time to focus on such areas.

Friday noon, I went to lab to print the whole study material and I decided not to use flip page during the printing which then I ended up with a lot of papers. After I re-think of what I’ve done….I’ve been wasting papers lolz, I just realized that after I went grouping the documents into more manageable format. One of the duty programmers said “Next time use flip pages because I am wasting a lot of papers”, indeed I did lolz..Anyway in the end of the day, I didn’t care so much because if I am using all of printing balances I’ll go end up with the same thickness and wasting that amount of papers anyway, lolz…After I compared it with the thickness of my alarm clock, they are actually pretty much almost the same in size…what the hell, am I doing….?

Gag berasa udagh minggu ke 4 udagh ampir sebulan gw masuk kuliah. Tugas kayanya udagh menumpuk banged and gag bisa di tunda2 lage. Gw udagh kurangin waktu maen gw sampe 95% degh.. Udagh jarang banged login Tantra yang ada paling login buad makro terus gw tinggal tidur bsok pagi-nya gw matiin. Maen dotA aja udagh jarangg banged, hahaha…udagh map 6.42? adugh2 ketinggalan banged yagh gw udagh…udagh-lagh gw gag gitu urusin lage degh cuma kalo emang gw bener2 lage SUPER PENAT and butuh istirahat gw pasti nge-game degh….soalnya pastinya cape yagh kayanya kerjain assignment molo

Campus Life

Campus life gw so far fine2 aja gag banyak problem ama temen2 gw semua..Kelas baru kayanya lebi MIXED yagh. Gw bisa kenal lebi deked temen2 gw yg dolonya gag pernagh sekelas….jadi lebi sering canda barenk di kelas ato kalo lage bosen kita tidur wakakaka….seru juga….bosen ama makanan campus yg menu set-nya di ubah…Jadi sekarang bakalan banyak makan di pinggiran aja degh biar bisa hemat…kalo emang ada duid lebi kita bakal lari ke Senayan City hahaha….terakhir kita ke Dindi Fusion lho makan-nya enak..Curry Rice-nya enak banged IMO…hahahaha

My life so far fine2 aja yagh kaya yang udagh gw bilang diatas hehehehe…cuma gw akhir2 ini sering bosen banged kayanya sendiri aja geto kalo misalnya lage coding malem2 ato kerjain tugas malem2….pengen segera punya cewe negh gw hahahaha…ada yg maw gag yagh ama gw?? hahaha…CUAPEEE DEGH Pet…wakakaka…ogh yagh thanks to Aulia yagh udagh sering pinjemin novel negh..jadi kalo malem2 gw cape abis coding geto2 bisa buka2 baca degh hahahaha…jadinya even though it’s kinda boring stuff tapi gw menikmatinya koq…..wakakaka, jadi kalo emang jodoh pasti bakalan daped donk bukankah geto katanya? iyagh ato ngak yagh hmmmmmm….?? ah bodo ah gw gag peduli wakakaka….
